Burland Technology Solutions Limited is the brainchild of Richard Vass who started developing and manufacturing power distribution products over 20 years ago out of sheer frustration that there were no intelligent workable products on the market.
Home grown in the UK
It started with the Burland Box, which was patented in 1994. The Burland Box revolutionised the way power and data services were delivered to office workstations. It takes major feeds directly to clusters of desks and distributes them local above the floor avoiding the expense of blanket distribution. With fewer connections and considerably less cabling installation costs are reduced. It is also easier to re-plan and modify workstation clusters.
More recently, we launched our socket-locking device (IEC C13 and C19) to stop plugs falling out of vital devices in data centres. It’s a simple spring-loaded button and will interact with plugs from any vendor.
Best in class manufacturing partners
We are a reseller for the Eaton Corporation in the UK and supply jointly developed power distribution products and Eaton Powerware UPS and ePDUs for data centres offering basic, metered, monitored and managed solutions.
Burland partners with AH Myer for the best looking above desk and in desk power and data units available today and Colebrook Bosson Saunders for monitor arms and CPU holders.
We also have a relationship with U Systems to supply Cold Logik rear door heat exchangers giving up to a massive 50kw pf cooling in a single cabinet using sensible often free cooling.
