Custom & Bespoke
One of the greatest advantages of having a subcontract manufacturing model is that we are able to call upon “best in class" resources
for any specialist production methodology, be it stainless steel fabrication, plastic moulding, vacuum forming, cable harnesses or
general sheet metalwork. This allows our talented team of design engineers to look at each opportunity and challenge without any
limitations of our own production capabilities.
Over the years we have produced a vast array of specialist floor outlet boxes, many with IP ratings, customised power distribution units
for trading desks, command and control centres and studio consoles, where using standard products would represent a compromise.
No two projects are the same and we recognise that there is always a best way to overcome a challenge. Our customisation capabilities
mean that we can always adopt the best way, without compromise.
Below are a number of recent products produced for our clients worldwide. Please get in touch with us to discuss your next project.
Global Trading Office PDU
The end user client wanted to develop a system on all their trading floors, whereby, in the instance of an IT failure on a trading desk, the entire desk could be rapidly disconnected from the building electrical services infrastructure, to be immediately replaced by another pre-prepared trading desk. This would result in potentially as little as two minutes down time.
Global Trading Office Floor Box
The solution here, working with a trading desk manufacturer, was to produce single and double stainless steel floor boxes. These boxes in turn were not fitted with traditional accessories, but rather heavy duty “Harting” industrial connectors whereby the power and data connections are all within one plug. This meant that when a desk needed to be moved (they were all mounted on lockable castors), the facilities team simple disconnected one plug, rolled the desk away and replaced with a new one.
These boxes needed to be built to withstand lots of abuse, with very heavy, populated trading desks rolling over them frequently. They also had to have a quality look and feel, something where we believed we excelled.
